We often draw from our pool of independent, freelance consultants for expertise

needed on business development efforts, client projects, and other requirements.

As a 1099, you know things happen quickly, so we're building a "ready reserve" of trusted resources. One of our key values is to provide clients with the breadth and depth of knowledge they need to find solutions to their most pressing challenges. We use our network to bring specialized expertise, and we give our teams the freedom to get jobs done efficiently and effectively. This calls for practitioners with the capabilities and judgment needed to deliver results while always representing our company in the best light. As such, we employ an extensive vetting process before accepting people into the network. That means you can be confident that, if selected, you'll be working with the best.

We're looking for experienced individuals who have a passion for helping organizations make transformational impacts on lives, communities, and the world. We use two titles for our independent consultant partners: (1) Senior Fellow, and (2) Fellow. Minimum qualifications for each are below.

Senior Fellow, Specialty (e.g., Strategy)

  Required

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  
• Ten years of experience in one of our solution areas for internal and/or external clients
  
• Senior-level position(s) at recognized top-tier consultancies, non-profits, and/or governments
• Ability to represent us in alignment with our values, to high-level client leaders
• Exceptional customer service skills to ensure consistently positive client experiences
  
• Project management experience and ability to independently deliver high quality, timely results
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients at different levels in various roles
• Strong communications and facilitation skills, especially with diverse groups and interests

  Beneficial

• Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA)
  
• Exposure to multiple industries or mission areas in two or more sectors
• Experience teaming with small consultancies and/or other independent contractors
• Professionally recognized industry and/or specialty credentials
• Understanding of data analytics principles and tools to support solutions and inform decisions
• Approachable C-level relationships with non-profits, businesses, and governments
• Willingness and flexibility to operate in different roles on specific projects
• Ability to adjust rates for different markets, clients, project scopes, etc.

Fellow, Specialty (e.g., Marketing)

  Required

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  
• Four years of experience in one or more of our solutions for internal and/or external clients
• Mid-level experience at recognized consultancies, non-profits, and/or government agencies
• Ability to represent us in alignment with our values, to high-level client leaders
• Exceptional customer service skills to ensure consistently positive client experiences
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients at different levels and in various roles  
• Strong communications skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations

  Beneficial

• Post-baccalaureate, specialized courses, graduate certificates, etc.

• Professionally recognized certifications in appropriate fields and/or industries
